What is a mentor?
A mentor is an adult who provides a young person with support, counsel and friendship. Mentors are good listeners, people who care and people who want to help make a difference in the lives of young people. The relationship is based upon trust and focuses on the needs of the mentored individuals and encourages them to develop to their fullest potential.
